A little into the future…
Across the world, people began to be born with powers different from ordinary humans—
they were called “Inō-mochi” (those with special abilities).
People feared and rejected these unknown powers.
However, the number of ability users didn’t decrease.
Instead, their numbers slowly grew over time,
and gradually, they began to be accepted by society.
In a certain academy located in a somewhat rural area,
a faint trace of discrimination against ability users still lingers.
There, ability users are unfairly treated as problem children.
In this story, the protagonist Mai becomes a teacher
and goes to the academy with the goal of reforming them.
