On the surface, it appears to be a traditional Japanese-style bar run by “Miyabi Himura (Mama Miyabi).” However, it serves as a hub for eccentric regulars, including industry insiders, detectives, and journalists. Underneath the facade, their true business is information brokering—handling investigations for clients and buying or selling intelligence they’ve gathered on their own.

After a long stretch of mid-sized cases, the team is finally approached with something larger. The secretary of a prominent politician, a regular at the bar, arrives with a request: his highly educated son has fallen into a cult in a rural area and refuses to return home. “I need you to bring him back, whatever it takes,” the secretary pleads.
