Chidori, a ninja of the Iga clan, was hired as a bodyguard for Shikida, the warlord closest to unifying the land.
One day, Chidori successfully captured Hisui, a ninja from the rival Koga clan, who had come to assassinate Shikida.
Capturing a Koga ninja alive was an extremely rare achievement…

Chidori requested Hisui’s life be spared, under the pretense of extracting information from her and training her to be offered as a concubine to Shikida.
Shikida granted the request but added a condition: If Chidori failed to complete the task by the next full moon, both she and Hisui would be executed.
