Our protagonist, Narumi Takayuki, is a third-year student at Hiiragi Academy, an affiliated school of Hakuryo University.
With graduation fast approaching, he has yet to decide on his future path,
and while feeling a vague sense of impatience, he just goes with the flow from day to day.
One day, his classmate and female friend, Hayase Mizuki,
invites him and his best friend, Taira Shinji, to the summer festival,
and is introduced to Suigetsu’s best friend, Suzumiya Haruka.
She is a shy girl that Takayuki has seen before.
Thanks to Mizuki’s efforts to include Haruka in the group of the three,
Takayuki tries to be friendly with Haruka,
but for some reason, Haruka tries to avoid Takayuki, which makes him increasingly irritated.
Later, Takayuki is called to the hill behind the school,
where Haruka is waiting for him, and confesses her love.
