DESCRIPTION

In the near future, humanity launched the “Prometheus Cell Project,” a grand initiative aimed at enhancing the human body and advancing civilization through the fusion of genetic engineering and artificial intelligence.

However, the experiment completely spiraled out of control, and an unknown “Collapse Factor” leaked from the test samples. This factor corroded organic cells and electronic devices alike, causing biological mutations and machine rampages, ultimately triggering the “Great Collapse.”

Cities fell into ruin, nature became distorted, and science and technology ceased to function. Humanity was pushed to the brink of extinction.

The only surviving command AI, “Starcore,” was an artificial intelligence left behind at the original research facility. It retains part of the experimental data and information about the post-collapse world. Through faint radio signals, it establishes contact with the player — one of the few remaining survivors — guiding them to uncover the source of the Collapse and seek a way to reverse the catastrophe.

The player is the last surviving augmented human, implanted with a resistance factor against the Collapse within their body. Even in environments with extremely high Collapse concentration, they can continue to function normally, making them the only being with the potential to stop the spread of the disaster.
